The best thing about the book, which sadly, I cannot explain without spoilers, was the most surprising. Inferno was, like any other Dan Brown book, very much unique. His character arc was the most insightful in many things, madness, genius, philosophy and most importantly, our future as a species. His reason, his character arc, made it very hard to see him as a villain. Unlike the other books, the one’s villain was very much more complicated and quite very much a mystery until the end, shrouded by misconceptions of his identity. And as fellow book-lovers, character insight is something that everyone loves. Detailed, focusing more on behind the scenes and inside the characters. The writing style of the book was that of the classic Robert Langdon novel. The temporary amnesia story-line enabled an even bigger suspenseful arc and a past story-line that, as revealed to fill in bits of the confusing timeline, revealed at the perfect time, made the book all the more awesome. The story-line of the book is fast-paced, exhilarating, unputdownable and frankly exhausting. And damn, Inferno is without a doubt, the best Dan Brown book I ever read. ReviewĪfter every Dan Brown book I read, I feel it’s the best one by him.
